I bought the Kindle 2 for Christmas and I really, really love it! I was thinking about the Nook also, from Barnes and Noble, but since they couldn't get it out until after Christmas, I didn't want to wait any longer. Also, since the Kindle has been out a lot longer, I figured all the bugs would have been worked out of it. It is totally awesome being able to order books for only $9.99 or less - many free. The keyboard is also really nice to add notes for quick future reference. When I'm done reading, I just "delete" the book and it stays up on the Amazon website, sort of like a book shelf. No more books stacking up all over the house! Yeah! I love technology!!!

I'm not sure I could get used to reading one of those things. All I know is that I hate reading books online with my computer...
Hi FJ, It's a lot more like a paperback than a computer. The screen looks a lot like paper and once you have a cover, it handles like a book. Happy NEW YEAR FJ!
