Had a great time visiting my family in Canada:>) Picked up the dogs at the kennel, and poor Avatar woke me up every hour last night wanting out with 'the trots'. The Avatars brother has some sort of gagging thing going on, so we're going to the vet in about 15 minutes to see what's up with him. I'm thinking 'Day Play' is not such a good idea afterall. Good grief.

Yee gads, the Avatar is not eating now and when I tempt her with 'liver' she vomits it up. I might have to take her in to Dr Vet tomorrow now.... Aiyayia! I'm starting to feel sick just watching these 2 mope around...

call a vet from where you came to see if there was any reports of parvovirus in their area - this lies in the soil and is difficult to get rid of - not eating and vomiting is one of the signs - our neighbors rescued a great dane/pitbull puppy from this and he's doing fine now. do it now!
Hi Nanc, They didn't go with me. They had to stay in the kennel. They seem to be feeling a bit better today. I think it was just stress from playing with the other dogs. They're anti-social. I was hoping it would help, but I'm afraid they hate it.
It isn't the ol' kennel cough, is it?

Hi Brooke, Well they had their shots for kennel cough, but they say there's a new more potent version of it out now. They seem to be doing better today, so I'm hoping it was just stress-induced.

Good! I'm glad that Avitar is okay, Eyes. The first thing I thought of was what the Kennel is using to feed the dogs. Perhaps you should check on that? I'm not saying it's one of those foods on the recall list, but whatever it is could simply not be agreeable to your dog.

Hi Gayle, Good point! Next time I'll take food for them. They're almost all better now. Avatar is back on her food and no more diarhea (Thank God!).
Gayle may very well be right! Dogs are pretty fussy as far as their digestive systems are concerned!
A different food with the stresses of, NO MOMMY, lots of strange creatures called "dogs" and different routines may have all landed on their tummies!
Glad they are settling back in. Maybe a neighbor who could puppy sit would be better?
