Planetary Nebula NGC 2440

Explanation: Planetary nebula NGC 2440 has an intriguing bow-tie shape in this stunning view from space. The nebula is composed of material cast off by a dying sun-like star as it enters its white dwarf phase of evolution.

This is one of my favorite songs, hat tip The Merry Widow for the words:>)

"Days Of Elijah

These are the days of Elijah,
Declaring the word of the Lord:
And these are the days of Your servant Moses,
Righteousness being restored.
And though these are days of great trial,
Of famine and darkness and sword,
Still, we are the voice in the desert crying
'Prepare ye the way of the Lord!'

Behold He comes,
riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun,
at the trumpet call;
Lift your voice,
it's the year of jubilee,
And out of Zion's hill salvation comes.

These are the days of Ezekiel,
The dry bones becoming as flesh;
And these are the days of Your servant David,
Rebuilding a temple of praise.
These are the days of the harvest,
The fields are as white in Your world
,And we are the labourers in Your vineyard,
Declaring the word of the Lord!

There's no God like Jehovah.
There's no God like Jehovah!

Thanks everyone. When I look at the wonders in the cosmos, I can not reasonably NOT believe in an omnipotent loving Creator. That's why I love these pics so much. The Creator looks at all the BS that goes on down here and 'laughs at the wicked because he knows their day is coming'! Psalm.... Help me out here tmw...

Psalm 2 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Public Domain

Psalm 2

1)Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2)The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

3)Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4)He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

5)Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

6))will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

8)Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

9)Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10)Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

11)Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

12)Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

I believe I've found what you are looking for!
HE Will laugh them ALL to scorn. That will not be a pleasant time!
May HE be praised forever in HIS Handiwork!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

I want to thank you for your words of experience in my situation. Nobody likes their privacy invaded
and people would be well advised to steer clear of people unstable enough to do this.

Sane people avoid rabid dogs, no pun intended. Some people will learn the hard way, but until it is your shoes pass no judgement

Thanks.

Hi Beak, Normally I wouldn't care about my privacy EXCEPT that there are possible sociopaths out there and I (as you do too) deal with controversial subjects. I publish the Danish Cartoons often...

I am trying to be less hyperbolic though,,, It's easy to get carried away when you see innocent people killed in terrorist attacks, but heated words tend to only make me look like some of the kook balls on the other side... and I don't want that.

Anyhow, it looks like you've solved the dispute, and I'm glad of that because I like your friends too,, those I know. I don't know alot of the ones you mentioned.... like Greg.... no idea who that is.
