Border Agents

Please send an email to the president@whitehouse.gov, asking him to pardon the 2 border agents, Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean :

"Just hours remain before two Texas Border Patrol agents — convicted of shooting a Mexican drug runner in the backside while on duty — are to turn themselves in to U.S. Marshals, and there's still no word on whether President Bush will grant them a pardon."

I don't really understand President Bush's policy with Mexico. He isn't nearly as concerned with protecting the border as he needs to be. Instead of leading, it seems that Bush needs to be pushed into making any constructive policy towards illegal immigration. The fact that two border agents might spend the next decade in prison for doing their job is something I think our president should make a stand on.

FYI...blogger will not let me switch at this time.

Hi ac, It's a mystery... Pres B seems to find the necessary troups to guard S Korea's border... Why not ours? Something's rotten in Denmark. Re: blogger: Strange. Mine went through no problemo...

I think what's got these men in truble isn't just shooting at a drug dealer. They tried to hide it by picking up shells, etc. It's the cover up that won't be overlooked by the WH.

tancredo for president!

he'll git-r-done!

bush has gone soft on u.s. and needs to be called to task - and i can say that having voted for him! he'd best pull a rabbit or seven out of his hat in the next several months before we lose ALL trust in him.

Santorum/Tancredo!

Hard on Islamofascism, hard on illegals!

Bush has ALWAYS been soft on our border. Don't hold your breath waiting for a pardon.

What's worse is that they pardoned the drug smuggler to testify against the agents, and caught him smuggling AGAIN after the trial, and pardoned him AGAIN!!!

There. Email away!

Hi Cube, I think that's understandable considering the climate we're in. They probably just freaked out. Bush could still pardon them. Didn't Clinton pardon a bunch of actual criminals? I was never really hard on Clinton either when he lied to cover up the Lewinski thing. People sometimes freak out when they're caught in the cross hairs. I'm much angrier at what I would call the plotters and schemers with self-interest and greed as motivators. That would pretty much encompass the crowd Clinton pardoned.... and of course there was Sandy Berger, busily shoving papers in his pants to cover up for the Clintons total disregard for terrorism pre-911.

Thanks Brooke,,,, I'm sure the 'cover-up' was because they knew exactly what kind of crazy world we're living in, where they go to jail and the drug smuggler goes free. Disgusting.
