Too FUNNY. I was looking for a specific version of the koran the other day on Amazon, and I saw this book in the suggestions:
"The Unifying Theory of Everything: Koran & Nature's Testimony".
HA! HA! HA! HA!
It's 150 pages long.. HA! HA! HA!
So, the koran and Mr Asadi came up with what Einstein struggled with his entire life unsuccessfully, and sum it all up in 148 pages! LOL! LOL!!!
OMGosh, that is just too funny.

What a ridiculous waste of paper.
Yep, It sure doesn't help them. I was reading an article about the mahdi on the Iranian state website, and they think "big powers, which by monopolizing science and technology"... Hello! We developed it, and we're sharing it... They're never going to get ahead though if they really think the koran is the root of scientific thought and discovery! YIKES!
Hi FJ, That explains why their economy is doing so well *snicker*
148 pages? both sides? AND a cover?
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!
wonder when they'll come out with a condensed version?
i'm dyin' here!
LOL! It's beyond ridiculous, Eyes. Ludicrous perhaps? No... Hmmmmmm. It seems there is no one word in the English language to adequately describe this. I can say one thing about it though: It's arrogance beyond belief!
Hi Nanc and Gayle, It is too funny, isn't it? It's so stupid, it's comic!... Like something you'd see on SNL...:>D
I guess if you believe that the Angel Gabriel came down from heaven and dictated the Koran to Mohammed (who happened to be illiterate) you're willing to believe anything.
Hi eyes,
sorry I am late in responding to your question on Muslim states re the UN on my site, yes Pakistan, Bangladesh and indonesia are members of the UN and do send troops to various places in the world, well now we see how they behave- no change there then.
I know I am late on this one too but please accept my best wishes for you and your family for the new year, may all you seek come to fruition
Hi G, Happy New Year to you also!
Did they come up with 42?
I'm just sayin'...
42? You lost me there...
Actually, experience of the divine is the root of monotheistic religions. It's hard to be a Christian, for instance, if you've never experienced the love of Christ. It's hard to live the life of Judiasm if you have never felt God draw near; it collapses all into stale and meaningless rite and cant, which is exactly what Islam is. Islam is legalism. Islam is following a bunch of rules. Islam is "do this, do that, haram and hallal." In the broadest sense, religion is the dance between the mortal and the divine; Islam is the tyranny of code, arrows in the shapes of jots and tittles, a never-ending shapeshifting morass of laws, the heaviest burden of them all.
RS, I somewhat agree but would say it's the religion of the "dark side", where lying and murder are okay, where the weakest elements of society are abused and preyed on and intolerance is esteemed.
Eyes-Douglas Adams 4 part Trilogy, BBC did it as a series back in the 1980's? Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy! British humor.
tmw
Ya? I've never heard of it. I've led a sheltered life:>)
According to Adams, 42 is the answer to everything. As tmr said, it's British humor.
AHHHH, thanks Cube!
